FACILITIES on the campsite
At Exe Valley we try to anticipate the needs of our campers, and apart from the washing machines and payphone, there are no extra costs.
Situated in a National Park, there are restrictions upon buildings and appearance which makes the Park very special and beautiful, however we accept that these restrictions also apply to us, and we do not seek to change the general layout of the campsite.

Site Shop
Not a supermarket, but contains a surprising variety of food and things that you may need. We also supply replacement cylinders for Calor Gas and Camping Gaz. |

Grass and Hardstandings
So far as possible we like campers to choose their pitch on arrival.
|
Dog Exercise Area Our dog walk is 300 yards long, bordered by the River Exe and our mill stream, where dogs may be let safely off lead, and can enjoy playing in the river.
|
Free Fly Fishing
We have 600 yards of the bank of the River Exe, where campers may compete with the kingfishers, herons and otters to catch brown trout and grayling. We recommend a short rod.
|
Electric and TV Hook-up
47 of our 50 pitches have Hook-up available. There is 10 amps electric, and the TV is digital with some 24 channels and 6 radio stations. We can lend you a TV cable to extend from our box to your TV.
|
Motorhome Service Point
Conveniently situated with easy access.
|
|
Public Telephone
Mobile service is not good here although mobiles using EE or Orange can find a signal. We provide a public phone for campers who use other systems.
|
Information Room
Contains folders on local walks, local pubs, bus timetables, fishing, caravan repairs etc. We also have a wide variety of leaflets and local information, together with a small exchange library.
|
Internet
The free service has been slow until now, but during the winter of 2016/17 we have been upgraded to fibre optics, so we have been promised ‘the earth’.
